Good morning all just wanted to let everyone know we finally received our taxes back(they were sent march 11 )received our bill yesterday.When we filed we would be owing over 46 thousand......they did say because we received a lump sum "it is eligible for a special tax calculation that benefits you"(no mention of the T1198)and the balance owing was less than 1000$ !! I admit counting the zeros a few times as i could hardly believe my eyes.I just hope they dont reassess the assessment of the assessment of the reassessment like VAC does! Good luck to the rest of you i hope you receive money ...

This all really is depressing, so few people on here and so many have not had CRA use the flipping forms that were sent in with our tax returns. I cannot believe that there are this many callous goofs working at CRA. Think I will go into bumper stickers, first one will be; Have you screwed a vet today.

Just checked on the CRA my account and my 2013 return said 2013 Reassessment in progress

Not sure about Ontario getting better returns but I am not one of them. May be because I only had a couple of years retro owing. Went from there on to VAC rehab. I paid out over 7 and got back 1. Calculation sheet is still in the wind. Got a paper copy of the nonsense I had already seen on the website which tells me nothing except deemed taxes etc. Hopefully when and if I get the detailed breakdown they mentioned, I or my acct will be able to figure out what they did.
Glad to see the government is once again falling short of my lowest expectations

UPDATE Ref: Navs special number
Was Assigned a Case Manager specific to my DTC Application
Was told it will be fast tracked and will be contacted within 2 (two) weeks with the amount owed and when it will be available.
In the meantime if i had any concerns I am to phone that number direct and ask for my CM. Things is moving again.
CONGRATS SAPPER I know we hoped for more but at least your claim is complete and done proper minus the RELIEF Portion.
