Hypocrisy Defined

Well, this comes of no surprise! Flag Officers, politicians and especially the PM, Defense Minister and Veterans Minister could not tell the truth if their lives depended on it. This CDS is no leader! He goes on record to the public that the military want those with mental illness to come forward so they can be treated and helped but really what they want is to identify those that are suffering and get rid of them. This losing battle here at home fighting for being treated fairly and with respect and dignity is one that we may not win. The only way in my view is that the media look into these issues further, get to the truth and do not let up on the issue until change is made. Reporting out once in a while in different parts of the country puts no pressure on senior military staff and the politicians. Put them in the news each and every day, never let up on them, bring out the lies and force those that speak from both sides of their face out. Why would anyone want to come forward and bare their sole so as they can be chastised? Terrible but many of the senior officers of the military have been anything but a leader for so long that they now are dysfunctional. I hope that this Rock the Hill event sees so many come out that it embarrasses the heck out of these lying cheating individuals. So sad.

Side note, I believe I was required to sign a document disallowing me to speak about the military as well when I was released. Maybe I am wrong but that time is foggy but I believe I did.

Thank you for sharing these news articles pinger. After reading them I am left feeling very concerned and sad for not only the soldiers in the articles but for the ones we haven't read about and that no one knows about. I can not believe the insensitivity of the Base Housing in the one article. It is hypocrite rhetoric public relations. The second article makes me even more angry. This soldier clearly alone in his world had to find somehow the fortitude to get help when no one was even willing to help. Speaks highly of his character. I pray they are doing better.

After reading the above articles, I'm of mixed emotions... As sad as it is, at least it's getting " out there " in the media.
