What do you want to bet that the latest report from the HoC committee and the allotted time for a response from the GoC, played some part in the delay. After all, they recommended all service related TPI'd Vets go on ELB instead of SISIP. So if that happens, SISIP will only have to pay limited amounts, if any, of increased benefits going forward for any of those Veterans.

Thank you for the replys,
Hoping sisip does as previous and within a month or two will update the monthly recipients, all going forward monthly amounts as of the court date shouldn't be going through the law firm

This is so ridiculous, the fact is that SISIP once again screwed us over, got caught, a judge says they have to pay us and it takes over six months? There is no reason why they cannot start paying the correct amount now and the funds prior to the judges decision go through our trusty law firm. Why is it that we have to lose more money paying a lawyer 9% of our due amount for months? I am so tired of being continually screwed over on all of this. It is unreasonable that we do not receive the corrected LTD adjusted to the COLA amounts now. This law firm are so god damn greedy it is not even funny, taking our money and lining their coffers just because there is no one representing us but them. They sure have a good and profitable situation here.

Its funny that it took the law firm over a week just to email me the notice. In a way it is good thing that it isnt much money.... I will claim it all in one year for taxes.... Not worth the headache

Yes, if you ask me, this entire thing is just Fubar. They seem to have allowed some very weird limitations into the agreement, and the only apparent reason is to limit their financial liability. Like why only pay 74% of what is owed to us. The excuse of future lawsuits is bogus, because by accepting the settlement, we have waived any rights to future lawsuits. There is also no additional tax considerations, and there is also no post judgement interest, like included in the original settlement agreement. And section 4, about incorrect dates makes no sense to me. The only date that matters in calculating CPI is Javuary 1st, when the annual increase is applied. So as long as you were getting SISIP payments as of Dec 31st, it shouldn't matter if you had been getting them for 10 days, 10 months, or 10 years, the CPI increase should have been the same.
