Thanks LTD4me that is a relief. The CRA lady said that this morning but I was still worried it was a brush off to my inquiry.

Acadman CRA has stated that they have been taking up to 6 weeks to process paper filed returns, A representative of CRA has stated to me that the CRA internet site will not reflect your return as being received until it is actually completed.

My taxes where mailed Mar 10 by accountant but CRA has no record as received as of today. Is this normal.

Good news for all those T1198 unbelievers

YES....... I have "" DTC ""  backdated to 2002 , on  CPPD , wife has not worked since 2002 , no investments , & 5 children ........... to answer a few questions

Pension splitting helped, medical reduced it by $1,200 on $3,500 worth of receipts. Yes I have a 27 year pension.

Then try pension income splitting, if you have a CF pension that is, I did with my wife and if I remember correctly she got to claim the medical.

You are not the only one with memory problems peep's...me it's that time in my life where I start to practice "senior moments" LOL

Thanks teen, but my wife has zero income (I guess I am a handful to look after lol) so they will not get her any money back since she paid zero by not working.

If your retro refund is over $3,000 a T1198 will be sent to you.

The T1198 will come from Manulife’s Halifax office.

If you have not received your tax forms by mid-March, or if you have any questions regarding these tax forms, please contact Manulife directly at 1-855-370-0025.

Personally, I would be contacting them now to confirm that your T1198 has Indeed been sent out to you.

It is true that the CRA will have a copy of your T1198 available for them to view, however by attaching your T1198 to your return, you are asking the CRA to do the calculations for you, that is the reason why they are sending out the T1198 in the first place.

So for those who have yet to receive the T1198, I would not wait until the 15th, I would be contacting them today.
