Great news folks, I received a response from VETS Canada and they are going to cross reference the list of names with those in their database. Wouldn't that be fantastic if they were able to find out they have a settlement cheque for them! VETS Canada said they would let me know if they have any matches. I am so hopeful.

I spoke with a homeless veteran recently in Kingston and it was heartbreaking. It would mean so much if it came to be that some at least were on that list and were located and could then have a second chance. They deserve it.

I sent a copy of the names for the undeliverable list to VETS Canada seeing as they are on the ground daily helping the Homeless Veterans ~ they would be in contact with them directly and could cross reference from the list. I am hopeful.
