Great argument. Also, what about the backlog for Disability Benefits? and the Disability award Retro.... they could make it happen. They choose not to, at our expense.
If the military can summon the logistics to have a Brigade Exercise, or deploy troops to the sandbox... why don't they throw the $200 Million that the PCs dumped back into the Federal Reserve at the issues?
Apparently we're not worth it.
It's just sad.

Something is missing here? Empty Something is missing here?

The Federal government was quick to act on moving in Refugees, in fact within just 3 Months most of the 25,000 refugees have landed in Canada. I think that is great, but I also think something is missing here. To move 25,000 refugees within that short time frame, this takes a lot of effort and a lot of work by this government, not to mention the cost to accomplish this. It also proves that when this government wants to move on something, and move quickly, they can do it. I'm happy that those families were looked after, and looked after quick, however, one has to wonder why this government takes over a full year to implement or allow for the disability award to be increased, and the supplementary payments to be made to the disabled Veterans of this Country? One has to wonder why it takes this government 10 or 11 Months to make payable the 5 to 15% increase to the ELB? Not to mention the fact that the biggest promise of all to reinstate the lifelong pension is nowhere in sight. Are the disabled former Men and Women of the Canadian Armed Forces not worthy of the exact same speedy treatment and or actions given to the refugees by this government? That does not seem to be the case, something is missing here.
