Master Corporal Collin Ryan Fitzgerald, MMV is a Canadian soldier who was among the first recipients of the Medal of Military Valour (for selfless actions he performed under fire while deployed in Afghanistan).

Since his return he has been diagnosed with PTSD and "His struggles with that PTSD have left him with $160,000 in lawyer fees. This hero deserves better and is still fighting his way back.
