Veterans are better served now but gaps remain.

You mean to say,

The Bureaucrats are better served now. JMO

"In the next few months his office will release an actuarial statement that compares benefits offered under the New Veterans Charter with those provided by the old Pension Plan and, he said, he expects it to show that the new system is now more generous than the one it replaced."

I can't wait to see this actuarial, if there's no mention of taxed versus non taxed, it won't pass the smell test. JMO

His not the Able Seaman that was medically released and he has not lived through the grueling process.
Tormented by the problematic bureaucratic red tape in place to delay, deny and wait until you die.
I started this process at 25 years of age and I am turning 40 and I am still being messed around.

The Veteran Review and Appeal Board needs an overhaul yesterday.
