If anyone is curious as to the original message here it is:
"Special Authorization For Cannabis Coverage Above 3 Grams Per Day"
"Dear ZZZZ,
I hope this finds you well and you are enjoying the new season upon us. Please know that as part of ongoing cannabis therapy management services, I am here to assist you with anything that you may need.
A few updates:
There are just under 4 weeks remaining until May 21st, when coverage for all Veterans whom have not had special authorization is set at the 3 grams per day limit. If you would like to be considered for additional coverage beyond 3 grams, I can help quickly coordinate an appointment with an appropriate medical specialist. All documentation will then be completed and submitted for you.
If you would like to renew or review your current medical cannabis authorization with a Physician, please let me know. Our Physicians are able to assess for and discuss dosing, titration, interactions with other medication, possible side effects or adverse reactions you may be experiencing and any other health concerns you may have.
Should you want to discuss your selection of licensed producer(s), the increasing variety of available strains, new cannabis products and methods of consumption, I would be happy to answer any questions. As well, I can connect you with your personal Cannabis Health Professional, whom is available to you 7 days a week by phone, email and text message.
Cannabis coverage for non-Veterans:
Many other retired members of the military, along with our friends, family and neighbours struggle to afford cannabinoid therapy. Outside of Veterans Affairs Canada, there has been virtually no insurance coverage for medical marijuana. My team and I are having increasing amounts of success getting health benefit plans to provide full or partial coverage for cannabis. If you know anyone who is having positive results with medical marijuana, and would like to have it considered for insurance coverage, please provide them with my contact information, have them register on my website or with their permission I can reach out to them if you pass their coordinates on to me. Finally, let them know there are no costs or commitments with this process, and it is quick and simple.
I look forward to assisting you if you need me, otherwise wishing you health and happiness along your journey.
Yours in Wellness,
Andrea Scratch"

Re: Email from "Cannabis therapy management services"
I thank you for your assurances. That is a big weight off my shoulders.
I am sorry that this was the first place that came to mind and I apologize if you have taken offence.
There are many people around us that want to help. Misplaced enthusiasm sometimes can get a little out of hand.
I was taken off guard since the initial contact from Andrea made it sound as if Veterans Affairs may have sponsored the contact. Since it was not so I wanted to look further.
Thank you for alleviating my anxiety regarding this board.

I can confirm that I have not given out any personal information to anyone, not even my wife. I'm not sure how they got your email, but it certainly wasn't from CSAT.

Dove96,
There's three Individuals that have access to the email you used when you signed up to the Forum.
Myself, Admin and bigrex.
I'm the only one out of the three that uses the panel daily that shows the emails.
I would not give out emails or personal info out to anyone, ever.
I don't even consume Medical Cannabis, I don't associate with companies or groups who sell it.
The only thing I have to do with Medical Cannabis comes only from what is posted on the forum.
I know for a fact it is not Admin simply because I know he would never give out personal info.
Same goes for bigrex, he would never give out personal info.
I did send a message to bigrex asking him to confirm that it was not him.

Re: Email from "Cannabis therapy management services"
I asked Andrea where she got my name and this was her response.
"Hi Karen,
That's a fair question for sure. I have a little company in London Ontario. I started with a handful of local Veterans, and I grew to 160 Veterans across Canada. 5 months ago when VAC announced the changes, many of my Veterans started giving me names of those they knew, served with etc. I had the much needed Specialists lined up already, and I told my Veterans to let me know if their Friends needed help accessing same.
I then started a simple spreadsheet with these names and had over 300! Many I had phone number for and could call and offer help, but for those like you...I had only been given an email address, hence my email.
Honestly, I am not trying to solicit anything...just my folks are now all cared for, and now I can reach out and help others that may be in need of a specialist. I'm so very sorry that I didn't record the name of whom gave me the referral. I can see how silly that was now.
I do hope this helps?"
I would hope that no one in the CSAT community would share our emails with anyone. This is a personal board and I do not want to get solicitation from outside sources.
The email she used was the one I use for boards. I use a different email address for family and friends. This is the only place I can think of at the moment that would know my address and that I was a Veteran.
If it was someone on here, thank you but really, please post the information here and let us decide for ourselves.

Re: Email from "Cannabis therapy management services"
Andrea Scratch is a great woman. MFT used her services to set up my video Doctor appointment for my original prescription. Also, when MFT was not getting back to me about special authorization for more than 3 grams a day, I contacted Andrea and she facilitated my connection with the Ananda Clinic in London Ontario. They helped me find a specialist to request special authorization.

Email from "Cannabis therapy management services"
I received an email today from Andrea Scratch her business is "Scratch Recovery" and the mandate is "I help sufferers of diagnosed medical conditions access Medical Marijuana from Licensed Producers through Canada's Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (ACMPR) program."
She had my name, knew I was a Veteran and knew my prescription may be over 3mg/day.
The only people that know that is my doctor, my cannabis provider and the VA.
Has anyone else experienced an email along these lines? Is this company working in conjunction with VA? (she alludes to this on her website and in the email)
Would this have anything to do with the envelopes that showed our information in the window?
