Gunner8 ,

Get copies of EVERYTHING, I mean everything.

Complete service records w/ medical, every app. sent in and esp. in person stamped received by VAC.
Every medical report from your civie doctor. Always have your own copy. Including the paperwork your social worker sends in.
Shrink reports, Bowel reports, no matter WHAT it is. Everything.
GOC/VAC paperwork can get lost.

It goes without saying, aka cdf

Can you get the paperwork yourself and send it in yourself.? Better than relying on others. As for the length of time for the reassessment...it will be months. I have a reassessment in and am now at 3.5 months after all paperwork put in.

Had my PTSD reassessment almost a month ago, and my social worker sent all the paper work out the next day to the one who is managing my reassessment. So I called Vac yesterday to see if they received the paperwork yet, and come to find out they have received nothing. The person who is managing my reassessment and responsible for sending it in to Vac is now on vacation til August 20. I know she has had the paperwork for weeks now but she didn’t get it sent out. I understand they r backlogged with paperwork, but this is unacceptable. I dealt with the same person for my tinnitus reassessment and I found myself having to continuously call her just to remind her to make a phone call, or send the paperwork etc. It’s very frustrating.
Looks like this reassessment could take a long time to get done at this pace.
