There should be a VAC benefit checklist for vets
Re: There should be a VAC benefit checklist for vets
see there you go, I`m on line a lot and I didn`t know about this, lol, but I`m talking about a printed page that a vet can have with them with questions to ask their CM. Many are not internet sauvy, I know I barely am. because it seems after reading the horror stories here, many Cm`s volunteer nothing until pressed, I don`t know if they are instructed to or what? Like they are proud of themselves for saving the Gov. money by not revealing too many programs to their client.Teager wrote:They do have a benefits navigator.

There should be a VAC benefit checklist for vets

After reading this article, the wife is not wrong, not to trivialize veterans situations but someone should create a checklist similar to a grocery list that details what an newly injured vet should be asking their CM about. The easy answer is “ just go to the VAC web site it’s all there” but in actuality the information there is daunting and confusing to most, especially those with PTSD. I think an easy option would be a walk through chart that’s armed forces proof “ if you have this ask for this etc. “ , I mean many vets don’t know about CIA or that tinnitus is separate from hearing loss etc and on and on it goes
