Thanks Iceman. Appreciate the feedback. I wasn't able to find an answer on Federal/Provincial Tax sites nor on VAC However your response is logical!

I’m not 100% sure, I am not a tax expert, and could not find anything concrete, but I would think it is not taxable, they are a repayment for expenses you incurred.
Health related travel expenses are also an eligible medical expense for tax deductions, so I can’t see reimbursement for an expense you paid out being taxable

Health related travel claims
Does anyone know if Blue Cross HRT claims are taxable? Also, where is it written (CRA site, BC, NJC)? I’d like to read up on it before I submit any claims.

You can go back 18 months to your appointment date for HRT claims.

How far back can you claim..I drive 30km once a week for appts and have never claimed mileage...

Hey steelrain doing it through my Vac speeds process that’s what I’ve noticed travel claims that I’ve submitted through Vac account on the average for me 2 weeks and I always call them after first week to confirm they have received it

Health travel claims
I just recently put in for travel cost to see a doctor never claimed before. How long does it take to be approved and transfer to my account? I did it on my vac account.
