They incorporate enactment therapy to help individuals confront their trauma and provide coping mechanisms to deal with future triggers. It certainly helped me to cope and had remarkable results with the five other veterans who were on my course. Even though the January course has already started I would suggest that anyone interested in a future course to contact Patrick Thomas and initiate the intake process to see if you are a potential candidate for a future course. The VTN tries to run at least one course per province per year depending upon the number of screened candidates across the country. It costs the veteran nothing but their time.

thx, I am aware of the program, I was merely posting the link for Chaud, perhaps they will have better luck. I once applied, but I was told I was too volatile.

Anyone interested in applying for the 10-day course can contact the VTN co-ordinator Patrick Thomas at patrick@vtncanada.org The exact course dates are 17 - 21 Jan, Jan 31 - Feb 3, and Feb 15 and 16. This is a $15K per person course that is well worthwhile that costs you the veteran absolutely nothing but your time. All costs including travel and accommodations are covered by the VTN. PM me if interested and I will give you my honest assessment of the course which I attended and graduated in the fall of 2017. You are never going to get a better opportunity to start the new year off right with a new you.
