Re: Veteran Input
Make sure they do not cancel your medical benefits if you 'go back to work'

Re: Veteran Input
Finding an appropriate jobs for medical releases.
Going back to CAF would be ideal for me. I'll take a desk job.
My case managers basically abandoned me despite jumping through their hoops.

Re: Veteran Input
I have replied, regardless what her true agenda is.
However, I truly believe the CAF issue is a veterans issue (which she is asking us veterans). The past affects the future.....choices.....decisions etc. I also believe you can't have a solid structure without a sold foundation.....and us veterans are the foundation (so I believe). As discussed.......if veterans are not going to be properly treated and supported.......who would want to join the military. We may be of the past....but we can and do affect the future....imo
I agree in part about CAF issues.....new equipment, old equipment does not affect us as individuals or a veteran community....but it does affect Canada and we are part of Canada.

Re: Veteran Input
If this request was about VAC not the military you would be right Kramer...our voices about veteran issues need to be heard not military ones.
This is a request that is meant for military members not veterans. We have our own flaming pile of garbage to deal with that this reporter is ignoring.

Veteran Input
Passing this along
"My name is Heidi and I’m a national online journalist with Global News. I’m writing a story on what veterans think about the future of military, especially when the CAF is currently facing a recruitment crisis and sexual misconduct cases are surfacing.
Here are some questions to consider:
- what was your experience like?
- what are some issues that CAF needs to address?
- how can CAF be a better employer, especially for women, people of colour and LGBTQ+ community?
The story will be an online written piece but the interview will be recorded over Zoom as we need videos for the story.
Please email me at heidi.lee@globalnews.ca! Thank you"
I think this is relatively painless for many to jump in and give her a reality check. I don't think it will hurt......if we want our voice(s) to be heard....we have to speak!
