The change to the policy was 30 Nov 99. Prior to that, all medical releases had to apply for LTD benefits and may be denied. As of 1 Dec 99, medical releases were given the initial 24 months with reviews at the 18 and 24 month mark to determine if they were covered past the 24 month period.

Did apply was accepted and was giving a little help toward education

Did the doctor report thing 2004 / sent it in / was accepted I believe / made to much money from mil pension and VA and was sent a check for " 0 " dollars
And never heard a word back and I could not afford to keep sending doctors reports at a cost of $200.00 ever year and gave up

yes you did need to apply but on a 3-b releas your case manager on bace should have given you those formes to fill out with all your other release crap.
