O2 you saw a robin? I can top that...driving home after the Doobie Brothers concert at Casino Rama and what fragrance was filling the air??? A skunk! That's the sign of spring around here! LOL
Man I saw the Doobie Brothers for the first time in 1980! I felt really old until I saw the boys in the band. They still have it though!

It got up to 6 here today. Time for beers and sandals. The deer are everywhere now looking for food. I had three deer in my garbage. Yes ripping in my bags for food! I thought maybe I mixed up my pills again today. Poor buggers. Have a great weekend all. My first one without kids and treats to steal.

Thanks for the kind words Robbie and all the others. Yep, we are a team and have to stick together and offer support. At this stage that is all we can do. Cheers

Final Easter Weekend Update from the Federal Crown in Ottawa. Sorry guys it is an Easter goose egg ~ same as always from Victoria ~ nothing in the Court Repository nor on the Fed National Decisions Website....time to go relax for the next four days knowing nothing is going to be announced.

Thanks guys//gals, what a wonderful feeling to be touched by so many, without ever being physically in their presence! It's akin to a 3D, virtual support system with real time and humanistic sustenance!! Therapy without the therapist! :-)

Re: I recieved an update as to why there is a delay in the acceptance of the final agreement
I've come to realize one very important thing about this site, its people and the ideas, complaints, suggestions and general chit chat that happens here on any give day, and that is people on this site are very forgiving and supportive! For the most part, it's just like a family! There are arguments, emotional give and take, and many a good laugh in between! At the end of the day though, when things don't look too positive or I'm unabashedly confused and frustrated, some good soul will reach out and simply say, hey man, it's cool! We understand and you're forgiven!
I think that's what distinguishes each of us from those who have had no or very little connection to military life! We are a team, whether you're army, navy, air force or for that matter RCMP! We signed, we served, we sacrificed our health, our time, and in many instances, our family stability! That unselfish nature which we possess, put us her today! We were able and willing to give everything we had for the protection and safety of others. It didn't dawn on me when I signed the dotted line many, many years ago, but now I can feel that invisible, but yet palpable pulse which represents the caring in all of us! How else to explain that distinct and unique willingness, to serve, protect and ensure the safety of others who have no family connection to us? I firmly believe that we are a very sensitive and kind hearted group of people, who just can't fathom the injustice bestowed upon us! We just don't think that way! We are about caring and fairness. That's what we signed up for, that's what our country is about and that's what we wish for others! Yet, we were left fighting a system that we thought and were promised would always take care of us!! The resulting frustration, depression and anger expressed by us, is justifiable, understandable and important in dealing with these emotions! I thank all of you for forgiving so easily!

You need another row of !!!! maxed and I'm right there with you.
Justice Barnes said weeks not months. So if he is a man of his word then he has 2 weeks less a day...April 13 to keep his promise of weeks not months. On April 14 it's 2 months.

maxed out legal fees has everything to do with retro money. The law firm is billing us for the retro money only. Going forward money they can't bill.
I know your idea is practical, hell I've even thought of it myself, but unfortunately the law does not work on practical. It works on absolutes. As in absolute agreement of the deal, absolute legal fee.
So we are stuck waiting for Justice Barnes to render his final decision.
