Re: Looking For Some Wealth Management Advice?
I have no debts or mortgage.
I don't have much but what i do have i own.
I will be starting up a retirement fund for my husband.
I want to make sure that he will be provided for if something should ever happen to me.

DCHD, very good advice, especially your last sentence, which will more than likely apply to me.

Once you do all the above, consider GIC's as a method to have some income coming into the home as well! That is only if you still have significant money left over! Above all else, use the money wisely!

pay debt and or mortgage then you can invest what you like.
But like most people now most will pay themselves first.
That's why most people are in debt in the first place.
So please choose what you do wisely it may be your last chance to do the right thing.

Here is free financial advice
1. Pay of debts, medical bills, car, mortgage, credit cards etc
2. Use only safe interest bearing savings accounts for RRSP and TFSA
(check out interest comparison at http://www.highinterestsavings.ca/chart/ )
3. If with kids, maximize RESP (and benefit from government grant)

Not really interested in help from anyone that 'comes out of the woodwork' regardless of what their pedigree may be.
But thank you for passing it on, Teen.
