So..............................
What is the legal argument for MC to stop these payments? The ORDER is for retro money to apply the 8% plus fees......not post.
All I see is unacceptable delays from our legal team..and in not so many words...."FOR A FEW DOLLARS MORE"!!!!! Well I feel "LEFT BEHIND"
for this greed and abuse of the Judge's orders. When will this stop? The term "blood sucking lawyers", appears to be more
appropriate as this deal is finalized.
Correct me if I am wrong................

Re: Post judgement payments from May 2012 to October 2012 are being heldup by our legal team
Page two of MC's letter (dated June 6th) asks the courts direction on two remaining practical questions,
1. Should these payments (June~October) be made as separate cheques, or included with the balance of the Refund?
2. Are these payments subject to legal fee?
From the minutes (pg 3 of 4) of the hearing, it shows "the Court indicates that a motion should be filed to best address the outstanding issue", with the exception that the main concern is the "time involved with filing a motion and further delays the administration of the payments"
The question of the Scheduling of Consumer Price Index question of law is also deferred until the week of October 7th..

All of the amounts should be paid up by October, with the exception of the four months in question.

True trooper, but those missing four months is the amount in discussion, and will possibly have to wait until it is decided in October whether or not legal fee's may be applied (as per the last entry on the court docket)

When I was approved LTD in May 2013, they back dated it to Oct 2012, plus added 5% interest. The check came form SISIP Manual Life. When speaking on the phone to her at SISIP, she told me that before Oct 2012 had to go thru the lawyer, and she could not send it directly to me. I will be back dated to 2008.
So yes Acerman1234, I was told the same. MC is delaying the funds

Yes bloggings, and this in no way will effect the timeline of receiving our retro packages.

Last entries on the court docket have this being decided in the wording of the lawful agreement on October 2013..

MC has stated that the money for those months will be sent to the class members directly from SISIP, the same time that their retro money is sent. So those who have been reinstated should be receiving 2 cheques, one from MC, and one from SISIP, at roughly the same time.

Judges final order : Page 14 Para 31 ( Class counsel shall not deduct or change any legal fees or disbursements on any increased or new Monthly payments that were paid from June 2012 to date )
Don't know if this is what you were asking in your post. But there have been some talk here of late about that.

Just got off the phone with SISIP and was informed that these payments "May 2012-October 2012"...POST judgement is being held up
by MC as they want the "FUNDS" to go thru them....so that they can deduct 8% plus fees. Court dates have or are being set to have this issue worked out. Mean while veterans are being screwed over what can only be describe as greed. Has anyone else been told this?
