Re: Budget 2016 & BILL C-12
About the Last Post Fund I have to aplogize for what I wrote on page 1.
I mistakenly thought the funeral amount was $35000 for a veterans funeral.
The $35000 increase is a veterans Annual Income.
So if a vet passes away from a pensioned condition the LPF automatically kicks in and your estate get's financial compensation from LPF.
If a veteran dies NOT from a pensioned condition and the annual income is less then $35000 then the LPF gives full funding to the veterans estate.
Again my mistake in my previous post. Sorry

This is one reason why I tell my physiotherapist I don't need a blue sticker and suffer it out....I wouldn't be as polite as her.

Re: Budget 2016 & BILL C-12
“Studies and also qualitative data show that feeling surveilled is actually a part of what’s hard about having a disability – sometimes more so than whatever physical experiences you’re having,” Shotwell said.
“It’s actually really, really harmful, especially if it means that someone who lives with a disability decides not to use their legitimate access to accommodation in order to avoid being judged.
Another check for Vets.

I hear you RR at 11:34...lol.
Hey Danny, jmo but my blue sticker is a hell of a lot more practical for me than a poppy plate.
It's a godsend because I can't walk far.

from what I read ELB at 90% comes into force October 1, 2016......cant see where it mentions back dating......some of it is very hard to understand...especially the formula to calculate the retro for the disability awards. With wording like this make no wonder why VAC screws up so much...lol
