So true!
VAC uses Veteran's as scapegoats when they screw up and they also blame the government because they don't have enough staff to cover the back logged files. It's sickening!

Here's my question....
Has VAC ever run proficiently or has it always been a shit show?

Miscalulation on CIA/CIAS T4s
Hi folks,
FYI, my husband was doing our taxes when he noticed that my VAC T4 slip did not included the amount for the CIAS portion. I contact VAC as soon as the error was found. VAC finally contacted me back to confirm the miscalulation. They are sending me an additional T4 slip in the mail. So double check your amounts so you would get penalized later on when VAC does their accounting audits. VAC's Accounting Representive reminded me that according to Canadian Tax Law it is the tax payer's responsibity to make sure all taxable income is accurate from all income sources.
Cheers,
