Retro pay for injuries

Re: Retro pay for injuries
It happened to me.
I had a claim back in 92 that was denied.
A couple of years ago, I submitted a few claims, one of them being the same as the previous issue. (I had completely forgotten bout it)
All of them were awarded and I was given a DA for each in them.
They then did an internal departmental review, (initiated by them) and realized that there was a previous claim that was denied, and changed it from a DA to a pension, backdated 3 years.
It would have been really, really nice if it had been backdated 15 years, but it is what it is.
