Hi guys just received word I will be getting a payment of 15 plus%. About 45000 $. For hearing loss and tinnitus ... Holy f .. I can not believe it... Anyway as I said before I would let people know on what the outcome would be ....

I have applied for hearing loss and tinninitis waiting for approval .. I had some hearing loss when left military and noted on my release medical was tinninitis I am wearing hearing aids to make the ringing...hope this will help.. When I get decision I will post to see if this helps or not...

I will tell you now that unless there was pensionable hearing loss noted on his release medical, they will deny any tinnitus claims caused by hearing loss. His only hope is if he is also pensioned for something else and the medications for that condition are proven to cause Tinnitus and go after a consequential pension

My spouse got out on a regular release in 1994. Spouse was airforce for 20 years and served 2 years on ships with seakings. spent a lot of time being exposed to high levels of noise. in 94, release medical was fine. now at age 56 (it has been going on for a few years now), he has tinninitis and some hearing loss in one ear.

Has anyone here put in for hearing loss with VAC and have any pointers?
