Now, I am retired and am enjoying my retirement life. I guess my hearing defect is quite disturbing for my wife. I have an old pair of hearing aids, but their battery has damaged. So, I am planning to purchase hearing aid batteries ( https://www.hearingsolutions.ca/hearing-aid-batteries ) from Toronto and reuse the same hearing aid.
Is it safe to use the same hearing aid again? Will it cause any problem to my ear-buds? Can I claim money for this hearing loss? How much compensation will I receive for this noise-induced hearing loss?

Contact Veterans Affairs Canada at 1-866-522-2122, ask them to send you an application for Hearing Loss. http://www.veterans.gc.ca/eng/services/after-injury/disability-benefits/benefits-determined/entitlement-eligibility-guidelines/hearing_loss

Once you receive the application, fill it out with the required info from the application.
