Re: question on taxation year(s)
if this is not possible, then the other question to pose would be can i divide it in two, and claim half for 2012 and the rest in 2013..

Re: question on taxation year(s)
thank you, please pass on what you may find out
if i could divide it up to take it down into a smaller tax bracket for each it would be more beneficial,
the only amendment would be for 2011, 2012 would be a normal filing, and the remainder claimed at the end of this tax year..
then the penalties for 2011 would be the only ones payable on amendment if able to do it this way..

question on taxation year(s)
question for any in the know.
are the only two options for claiming and filing the taxes;
1. to claim it in one calendar year, or
2. to claim it over the whole term of the years that it was taken?
can I not opt to spread it over the past two years and the rest in this calendar year?
for a total of three calendar years, instead of the last 8+
