It is good news folks. Apparently I am very good at pressing buttons and having a law background and a Veteran really shook the honey pot up. My cell phone has not stopped ringing. MP's are calling me, Vac, Vrab, Vac HQ as well. the person in charge of my file got torn a new asshole in a conference call with me on the line. The short and sweet of it, The ministers office called Vac's local office and said make this guy go away. I do not want to put a lot on here, but I will talk on the phone to anyone and tell them the story. PM me and I will give you my cell number. If you like.

I agree, there should have been notice of what their intent was, if only to allow yourself the time to prepare and appeal, or to put money aside while you still had it, but to pull the financial rug out from under you is purely out of spite. They may not reinstate the ELB, but I at least hope with the pressure of media scrutiny that they fast track the CFIS approval.

Where's the grace time to allow for cfis to be applied for? The transition could have been handled much better. Plus the vac case manager stuck her nose in and made it a point that PTSD wasn't claimable. She overstepped her job description. PTSD should have been there along time ago, as per the doctors current records of findings. This has all been handled the typical way by Vac!
