6688 yes as I said civvies voted on this in their unions NOT us. when our plan was integrated with the public service plan in 66 are plan became automatically linked to CPPD NO VOTE REQUIRED I GUESS . we were not linked prior to that.

now if memory serves me correctly in 2000 they de linked the cfsa and cpp in bill c-78 when they separated the different pension funds in essence giving us back our own pension fund . along with that taking something like 30 billion from these funds to put into the general coffers
so to speak .

Yes, and God forebid that anything ever changes with government treating us as they treat themselves. This is not the case with most of society, bottom government screws us just because they can, one day they the politicians will develop some integrity and stop talking from both side of their face.

Propat. The CFSA and CPP have always been "linked" or bridged/integrated since June 1966 anyway.

Ive been following this site for a few years now. very well said since i could never wrap my head around why there was a deduction from my cf pension for the last 11 years. Now I know why!!! THX

ya very well said buds ending this callback is a must and that bridge benefit as they call it should not be a benefit it should be our pension we paid for .

ill tell you why ;

1. a long time ago some civi unions voted to LINK their pensions to CPPD so it would lower their pension premiums . this also reduced their pensions as well while they are collecting CPP. if they were not on CPP they got their full pension that extra amount to get them to full pension was called a bridge benefit so the GOC just went ahead and applied it to the military as well .

2.much later the military was given its own pension that was DE-LINKED from CPPD .shortly after that our pension premiums went up and went up a lot because we were no longer linked to CPP.

3. now that we are de-linked from CPPD we should have no reduction in pension while on CPP    BUT WE DO.

4.we now have the only pension plan in the country not linked to CPPD that has a pension reduction when we receive CPPD.  

are we second class citizens??? is this fair???is this even legal?????

2.......... " Terminate " the ClawBack  , of Veterans CPP Disability Pension from their " Earned CF Pension " ..........Retroactive to Start  Date  !

                     Yes !  ....... the Money is in the Coffer's , ... Remember ..... NEARLY  30  BILLION  ,  The Federal Government BORROWED  from  the coffer  of
                 CF Personnel  Funds  ! ......... There's the Money to pay us our Retroactive Bridge to CPPD from our  Canadian Forces Pension ,  Sir !

                Please ......Remind the Federal Government about the Money they so Politely Removed & Return It to it's Rightful Owner's  !

3.......... This Nations Disability Benefits are at ....... 1/3  one-third .......to that of BRITISH TROOPS  who we FOUGHT  Along side of in BOSNIA  !
              ""  ADJUST "" OVER !

4.......... The Pension Act , prior to 2006 , "  Requires Adjustment "  to Higher Levels to " PROPERLY  COMPENSATE "  Disabled  Warriors ,  Sir !
                           Today's Pension Act prior to 2006 sits at about .............ONLY  ,   30 %  of the  100 %  where it should be !

             Consider Greatly Sir , the fact that they were sent in by the Federal Government , Not by choice , they  followed Order's ,
became Disabled & Now the Federal Government is " Punishing " these Disabled  Veterans  " Without Warning " by bridging one
pension with another  &  " Withholding " $ 350.00 per month from their " Earned " CF Pension  in order to Pay the CPP Disability to a Now
" Broken Disabled Soldier " ....... This is simply Not Acceptable Sir !

            To pay every Disabled Warrior with a family not one penny above a Corporal's pay ....... is Shameful Sir !

           These Warriors , all went to War to Protect the Security of this Nation , Obeying Order's straight from The Federal Government .

.......... It is , Time to set things straight Sir , in my opinion , the 2 points noted above may very well be 2 Very Deciding Factors to " Help "
The Federal Government win the Hearts of Many .

......... WINNING is strictly up to ....... The Federal Government .......Time to Stand Up for These Warriors !

...... It is Time Canada , ..... for All 318 Members of Parliament to .... " Stand - Up Together & Vote Yea To Positive Changes as Stated Above for this Country's Warriors , who are now trying to survive ,  as This Nations Veteran's on the streets of Canada !

....... It Was you as " OUR GOVERNMENT "  who sent us over there !  Now do what is Morally Right to Properly let us live in Dignity with those Rights earned so Honorably , & give way to these drastically needed changes so not to live in Poverty on a Corporal's Pay !

These Documents are supposed to be " Living Documents "  ,  for one of the Richest Nations in the World , The Canadian Federal Government , pays it's Warriors just 1/3 to that of British Royal Marines ,

Who we stood  &  fought along side with , during the Bosnian War .

Britian's .......... 100% ......... =  $ 1,090,000.00 ........ OVER   $  1  MILLION  Canadian Dollars   TO  A  DISABLED  WARRIOR  !
Canada's ........ 100% ......... =  $    306,000.00 .......    1/3  ........................... Canadian Dollars   To a disabled Warrior .

For Fighting in the same War !  ...... Shameful  Sir !  ....... SHAMEFUL  !

YES ... WE'RE ALL , doing our Homework Sir , & The World see's exactly How Unjustified The Results are , for A Canadian Veteran !

The Federal Government .....Might Wanna Take Notice ! ...... Because if Positive Change is Not properly Brought to the Veterans Table & Properly Legislated in a Timely Fashion , then they may as well serve each other their own Walking Papers .
