Hey Nav...I made it to Our Island last night. Flew from Winterpig to Comox and drove 1 hour south. Freakin gorgeous here. Can't seem to find any liquor stores open here though...cold seven-up is just not as enjoyable as a cold brew while looking out at the ocean! Hope you come back to the site.

Here I am sitting on the deck watching the Brandt Geese paddling around. I made it to the Island and have viewed some beautiful homes...pretty expensive but...here I am on Vancouver Island. Have a good day all my fellow Vets.

Dove couldn't agree more.  It's hard for me to stay on top of all the threads so before you post a new topic in SISIP ask yourself these simple questions:

Does this have anything to do with SISIP?
What topic/thought am I trying to discuss and which thread best suits it?

The latest topic  "Lessons Learned that will influence your future in all matters Veteran Affairs by Robbieroyal" is excellent information.
It made me think that we are sharing a lot of information on the SISIP forum that could be put on the "Veteran's help" forum. 
Since SISIP is the most active forum it seems we are using it for of off topic questions and advice knowing it will get read and answered by a majority of members.
There are members that would benefit from what we write that might not follow the SISIP forum. 
 
I would like to see advice and stories like RobbieRoyal and BoltAction308 and questions like DENTAL COVERAGE by tiger660 start to move to forums where they are easier to reference for members.

Nahhhh, RuckSack031, I don't think anyone took offence to your post. I think it was all in good fun like in the old days when all MOC's would razz one another. I was a "Pecker Checker" and always laughed at that term. 

Same as the beefs we all had between Reg Force and Res Force. I know it used to rot us 711's when a 15 year old Sgt from the Res Force came in and would order us around and worse oart is we had to take their shiite. Or working Ipperwash and having to salute Cadet Officers! I still remember one Sgt. who refused to walk to the mess hall in uniform for lunch and would change into PT gear just so he didn't have to salute ... as he put it ... Snot nosed punks!

Medics and MP's never got along probably because we always had to live side by side in Borden with them. 

To those of you have have a coin ... you earned it and have every reason to be proud of it and to keep that tradition alive! I know if that was me, I would be all over that tradition.

I am in Ottawa now just for the week retd. Sapper any one in town it's. Glaz if you remember hopefully a chance for a catch up any one.
