There's plenty of free conference call set ups available in Canada, however, they will always be a charge for those calling in for long distance if their plan does not cover the long distance area their calling.

You may be able to set up a system where individuals interested in the phone in can email you prior to the conference leaving their number for you to call them, that's if your plan has call conference and across Canada free long distance.

Others here maybe able to weight in with their suggestions, or solutions regarding the call in conference.

Another avenue you may want to consider is online chat, or even the CSAT Chatbox.

You can also do this via email using the CC system.

Just saw this on FB Banished Vets. Good idea. However, suugest you send a copy of the dtg for telconfs to webmaster@veteranvoice.info so the info can be posted to all VVi mediums, as well as to others.

Your Initiative in your approach is bang on.
I agree, you need to take the message directly to the public.

You are showing the signs of a true leader by taking control, not allowing those summit meetings, or groups of meetings that are being used by the government for PR and are fully controlled by those hosting the meetings, any more control over us.
Attending these meetings are not the Ideal way to promote positive change.

It's a rough road either way, but a little patience and some good interactions between you, and those supporting you, can go a long way.

So I applaud you for taking the lead on this, and I'm sure it's appreciated by all, keep up the good work and thank you for keeping us posted.
