Re: Silence on Life Time Policy
APSC does look similar to the CIA, but it doesn't equal the amount made ig also getting the CIAS, even with it being tax free. After all, they guaranteed that nobody currently getting NVC benefits would lose money under these new benefits.

Is eelb gone. ??? Replaced with the new income replacement and at the bottom of the sheet it says veterans who get EIA don't qualify for income replacement benefit. But the new additional pain and suffering says anyone including disability pension can apply??????

Re: Silence on Life Time Policy
From what I am hearing, they're combining CIA/ELB and etc?
I'm currently applying for DEC with 40% disability but now I might get screwed over.
What sucks is everyones situation is different so its hard to get an answer.
Sounds scary.

Re: Silence on Life Time Policy
All I know is that he said that there are two benefits that are going to be tax free. So does that mean that iether ELB or CIA is going to be tax free? Or are they bringing in yet another benefit? They better put out some paperwork.

Well, looking at a slide show, that was playing in the background, waiting for the news conference to start, and it looks like ELB is staying at 90%. Also it looks like any changes will take effect this April.

Re: Silence on Life Time Policy
Newly released veterans may have less stress put on them. If you suffered an injury in service doesn't matter how you left the military were all in it together.SaintJohn18182 wrote:As someone who got their award recently and released normally.. We fully expect this to be B'S everything to date has been B'S.
