I found the answer to my question on the 1 April 2018 maximum disability award. It is now $365,400.00 as of 1 April 2018.

For example, if the initial PTSD disability award is 10%, is it 10% of the maximum disability award (which is calculated to be $360,000 as of 1 April 2017)? Has there been a 1 April 2018 maximum disability award calculated or is the latest still the 1 April 2017 amount? I have been waiting since June 2017 for my initial PTSD application decision and was told yesterday that my application has been at step 3 since 22 November 2017. In February 2018 they finally approved the monthly psychologist visits but did not back-date them to June of 2017 so left me on the hook for them (7 in total) but they did start the 25 approved psychologist visits clock as of February 2018. The only reason I can think for this weird decision is to punish me for self-referring to the psychologist in the first place. Has anyone else experienced the same treatment? With a diagnosis of PTSD I am still awaiting an initial disability application decision but have the approved visits to work toward my rehabilitation which I am grateful for. My entire process seems somewhat bizarre to me since my treatment appointments were approved over 6 months ago and I still await an initial decision on the PTSD disability application. This seems like anything but a streamlined process ...
