Rob Anders so called apology Empty Rob Anders so called apology

Post by bigrex Tue 06 Mar 2012, 22:09

Apparently the sleep deprived Rob Anders stayed awake long enough to stand in the House today to offer an apology to Jim Lowther and Dave MacLeod. He did so because these two Veterans and others were not going to be placated by the insincere memorandum drafted by the PMO. I still feel that his apology was insincere, mostly because of how long it took to be said. It only took hours after the initial story to break before he had made these slanderous comments publicly to the media, so why did it take five days for him to apologize if he was truly remorseful for his actions. He could have held a news conference over the weekend, or stood Monday in the HOC or even yesterday during the debate about Veterans affairs. There is only one true reason ....... negative news coverage. I would only accept an apology if it tethered to his resignation letter from VA committee.
