good to know,
i was tossed off the rehab program briefly around 2012, was reinstated 6 months later, so i'll have to see what effect that has on my SRB calculations,

Puddleduk2, from my understanding, the srb payout is from when you started to receive ELB, as long as your were DEC before April 1.

was 2012 approximately when you were declared DEC or when you started on ELB bigrex?

i started to be eligible for ELB in 2008 when some of the NVC started trickling down to previously non-applicable PA Veterans, i was zoned out on too many meds during that time period, however i thought i was treated the same as SISIP LTD in that i was ineligible for it as i made too much when including the PA amount with CFSA and CPPD,

I've been on ELB since 2012, and my SRB was under $5000, after taxes, based on a maxed out Cpl Spec 1 pay.

Is there a calculation formula to try and figure out roughly the amount SRB payout? I was advised on the My DVA account I was favorable Diminished Earnings Capacity decision on file dating
back to 2015 so not sure of what to expect, is it less then $1000 payout?

It was little less than I thought it would be. But I didn't have exact numbers, so I may have over estimated the total ELB, or underestimated the amount of taxes that would be deducted.

there has been a suggest on fb, that veterans call vac and ask the same question and video record the answer and post them, no 2 responses will be the same.

Just got off the phone with VAC for another matter ask the lady about SRB payout . Here the discussion me « any news about SRB payout » lady « what SRB payout ?, wait wait wait oh the letter was sent yesterday » OK good how much » not allowed to discuss the letter content » OK will we se the letter on my VAC account? » lady « probably. » me when the payment coming? » lady » could be a while « why did I bother asking questions about this?

I was deemed DEC just prior Apr 1 . Receiving amount for full duration I was on IRB (ELB).

I just got off the phone with VAC and they told me a letter was mailed today and payment should be deposited within 2 weeks. They wouldn’t tell me the amount or anything tho.

Any word if it’s an amount for the length of time you were receiving ELB while DEC, or for the whole time you were on ELB. Just curious as I know quite a few of us was only deemed DEC just before April first, but have been on ELB for years. Thanks
