Sisip dollar for dollar probably it used to be anyway, sisip wouldnt mind you working one bit but be wary it's not worth the risk, you may think you can work and most veterans want to work but you may find out pretty quick you can't then what? Alot of us have pushed ourselves past the point of enjoying the little things don't make the mistake we have over a couple buck's!

Re: Policy in extra earnings
No, it's just for those Veterans just on IRB, unless SISIP changes the policy. But the chances of that happening is slim to none, since they refused to follow suit, when VAC raised the benefit to 90%. If you are on SISIP, during the initial 24 months, they will deduct 100% of that money from your benefit, unless you are taking part in VoC rehab. Then they will only deduct 50%. If you are getting SISIP beyond the 24 months, until age 65, then having the ability to earn $20000/yr, SISIP would probably kick you off the program, because you would no longer meet their definition of totally and completely disabled. The same goes for CPP(D).

Bigrex I'm still not clear for those on SISIP. Are we just unable to earn the $20k if on SISIP? I can't find anything on VACs site in relation to this.

Re: Policy in extra earnings
Gunner, if you are getting IRB, you will be able to earn $20000/yr, in "employment" earnings. It should apply to everyone, even those deemed DEC, as long as they aren't working full time.

Re: Policy in extra earnings
You still have to 'report it' if you are on CPPD. That is my understanding.

Policy in extra earnings
Does anyone know the policy on the $20,000 extra we are allowed to earn without reporting?
Are we all eligible to earn it? Thanks
