Re: Old pension, $ for kids...
Covered up until the dependant turns 25 while in full-time attendance in a post-secondary program. His address must be the same as the parents and remains dependent on them. This benefit can stop and start up to 25 years of age.

Old pension, $ for kids...
Under the old pension there was a dollar amount awarded if the veteran had kid(s) , the payment continues until that child turns 18, I thought I read somewhere that the payment could/would continue if the adult attends more schooling after high school. Does anyone know if that is correct.? , also if it is, what if your son or daughter takes a year or two off after high school to decide what they want to become, I assume VAC instantly cuts the funding on the 18th birthday of the dependent unless the veteran provides proof that their child will continue their learning. If it’s an option, and you let it lapse, is it gone for good, anyone know.?
