As far as I am aware, if you take the pain and sufferer in lump sum, you take it at the current value. Which is currently 381,278.82 for a 100% award. (A non 100% award would be the percentage of that)
The NVC adjustment that happened a few years ago was really a special case, and I doubt there will be another, unless they revamp the entire system.

I was just wondering,
When one takes the monthly payment for life it goes up every year by a bit. What happens when we take the lump sum? Do they adjust that every 5 or 10 years like they did a few years ago?
