texting will driving is really stupid, as a fire fighter I see this all the time. But when we get there it's because they forgot they where driving. This year alown out of 12 cars accidents 50% were caused by texting..... For many it's better than talking cause it's hatrder for the cop' to see but it's alsow unfortunately very deadly. In the past we often concluded accidents to lost of control or people trying to avoid animals on the road, today if your carefull and look properly there is almost always a cell in or colse to the impact erea, sometimes the texto is not complet, sometimes people just keep calling the number wile we axtract the victum.... Many a times when the victim is injured and need extraction they just keep calling people to tell them there in a bad posture!!!!! We actually have to physicly remove the phone from them. Texting and driving is todays greatest danger on the roads.

I totally agree with you about needs and wants. Just look at the food banks, they get in line with there Timmies and cell phones and if the out of bread there they will stop off at the corner store for bread and smokes and then the beers store of course and to beat all that.

Agree on the fact that Canadien GOC giving a lot away, but that is not the real frustrating part of it. A lot of that money dissapear before getting to the people that need it. I was in Haiti and did a investigation on ACDI agence canadien d'investissement internationnal. Investigation was based on water wells not being administered by the locals after the two initial years, as it should have been. That investigation opened a can of worms in all directions of ACDI in Haiti. After rendering my investigation my supperieurs acknoleged it and requested I not push the isseu. But being how I was I pushed it past my chaine of command. Behold it never came out as far as I know. My colonel was charge with froud in another investigation the imbassader was changed, and that was it. I still have a copie of that investigation. I guess I will die with it. That's only one exemple of how the money we give is blown away. I am not saying Harper and his bunch are better, I am no longer on the ground and I do not things have changed mush...

That being said, I respect everyone's opinion , everyone is entitled to there own views, and on another topic I did talk to a couple of afganistan veterans , reserves, who were disabled at the legion today, and talk about the bad deal those guys get with the NVC. Any of you Conservative supporters who have any contact with any higher ups, should express your concern and get Harper to reconsider his position on the NVC. Parts of it should be scrapped and parts of the pension act should be merged into it. This I think would make a great benefit plan for our service members, also the reserves deserve help, they deploy just like us, but the ltd benefits are garbage

George, with the USA facing the debt crisis the only way out of it is to inflate the economy, which will further destroy the middle class, any savings in the bank you have, any government benefit will fall do to this inflationary period. Better to invest in gold and hang on to your seat. The next couple of years are going to kill the 99 percent and of course the 1 percent will come out richer as usual

I agree on the 1% thing, it like that in most countries in the world, the question I ask myself is would I do the same if I where in power. My heart says I would be differente, but would I truly be that way, maybe not. There is no limit to envy, I believe that the situation we are living is prouf of that. We all want the most out of this law suit. We all want dameges at different levels. Wy are we not ready to simply settle for what is due? I am no deffente I guess. Greatfoot, and Captialism has succeeded, Captialism has destroyed the middle class and led to the widest gap between the rich nd the poor. The nanny state is a myth, Welfare and ei in this country provide benefits that are equal to slavery. People will work when given the chance to have a job that pays a decent wage, not a slave wage. Conservatives rally about welfare and the nanny state but they give more corporate welfare to their friends and big business than any government has given any group of people. Everyone deserves a shot and decent housing and decent level of income. Everyone of us is a heart attack or car accident away from not being able to look after ourselves. Does that mean if we can't provide we should be on the streets? There would be a lot of veterans there, sisip ltd, CPPD and Vac pension are all social benefits, well deserved, but nevertheless social benefits. I for one am glad that the world is heading toward a more social democracy, socialism not communism , It's not wrong to look after the less fortunate and to provide services to the people who most need them. That's why I served , I didn't serve so the 1 percent can take everything , gut and scrap our country in pursuit of profit. The Conservatives do the best job of making poor and low income and the middle class believe they represent them and look after there best interests, it's false , the Conservatives are for the 1 percent, big business , their socialist pensions and everything that will benefit them. I thanked God Obama won, the look on those capitalist faces and panic they showed thinking they would finally have to pay a decent income tax on their investments , but don't worry for the capitalists there is now Obama care and they are covered for per existing conditions.

I do agree with you on M. Harper, I do not agree with him all the time but I think he will get the contry rolling again. Sure not every body sees the same thing. Normally I support de conservative party, except now until the end of the settlement, Stopped seng money in Oct: and we not send any more until this is all settled, I have voiced that and they agree.
