But Dennis requires a 5 dollar or 17.83 percent donation to the Centre for the study of the Manuge effect! Tax receipts will of course not be issued and no time line will be given or discussed!

Thanks devans,
I put a new thread on sisip with the link. I also contacted Dennis Manuge for his permission to post on csat although it is a public document and asked and he gave his permission to add to csat. Hope this helps.

Well that kind of jives with the time line we are seeing, that's another month, plus a month to get cheques started, looking at summer for payment, maybe and that's if it's approved

I saw something in my inbox the other day about Dennis talking recently to I think it was the standing committee for Veteran's Affairs and he stated that everyone is 99,9 percent positive the deal will be accepted but thought the earliest anyone would hear about the decision would be the middle of April.

I think we are all tired, anxious and skeptical of the process and we have every right to be given the circumstances that brought us all to this place, however we have to have a measure of hope not just for ourselves but for those who need our support who have no one to give them strength.

Re: Week 4 Day 25 , No News
The way I look at it if Judge Barnes is away on leave, then his decision would likely if not probably already been rendered and is in translation. Justice Barnes stated that the decision must be announced in both languages and I can not see it being done in English followed by a French version. It must be simutaneously announced due to size of class and national languages componet. Common sense suggests that the Judge would not work on this case while taking personal leave. Secondly and more importantly, he assured us in Halifax that he was aware of the veterans needs are urgent and overdue and that he would get to the case file immediately dispite having other commitments. So perhaps this is good news in diguise. It could mean we are nearing the end of the journey. Hope this helps.

I think the bigger picture is will this deal even get approved! Alot of fellows believe it was straight forward and now with these delays, Peter AWOL , something is just not feeling right. If its not approved it won't be may , it will be may 2 years from now!
