I hear you there and you are right they keep saying that no one will get less bosn181 - but I can’t seem to find out where they are making up the difference.

Under the new Pension for Life I will receive the Income Replacement approx $3800(taxed) and APSC $1000(tax free).  So in my pocket I will then have $3900-$4000 monthly after taxes.  So all being said I will be losing $500-$600 per month.  Losing the CIAS and CIA and making it into an APSC is going to hurt a lot of veterans.

Yump5555 remember these numbers  ...lets look at it in 16 months ...the tax free benefits: DTC,the life long pension tax free,  the CIA and the CIAS (to become tax free)
The minister said no one will be at a lost compared to where they are now financially.

Thanks BigRex, I was worried for a bit there. I really think the non taxable will hurt the lower income veterans who pay little or no taxes. I maybe wrong but .....

Scotty, if Veterans lose over $1100/mo, because they eliminate the CIA Supplement, it won't be seen as an improvement.

Scotty G not for all veterans no parity, and not for those not for those receiving no benefits suffering with an injury 2006 to 2018 those veterans lose their percentage monthly same as before.

Well i have read it all. Studied it! It is a HUGE improvement. We will learn to live with this and smile again.
Shocking that after 2 years they need 16 more months to approve it.  Election votes matter!

I believe AFTER the next 16 months little will be heard from Veteran groups.

Nav, I was correct earlier about the EIA. That little note has been moved over the APSC page.

Waiting for legion , call from our service officer, but talk at the watering hole is they switched the names and took off some benefits. Also the taxable non taxable thing will effect individuals different. A married veteran whose spouse stays home for support and received the CIA say the highest amount even if it's taxable won't over all pay that much tax on it because of his low income. But say a married vet whose spouse has a good job and would have lost more of the CIA in taxes because of a combination of income now is going to get it tax free and will be better off. I'm hearing alot of scernios

I appreciated that, because it would convey, to me at least, that the government is doing the veteran community a favour. And I couldn't accept that.

Trudeau should have been on hand.

He had his F@*# face on !!!😶
That's what's the liberals done to veteran's today...

Maybe I'm going soft living in Newfoundland. Everyone here is so nice. I can call a stranger up the highway at the store, to get another stranger, to drop off a bottle of liquor, for a nominal fee. And it's just because they are coming this way. this ain't no organized delivery system here. They ain't doing that in Ontario.
