Bruce72.- lol ya lots of conflicting stories at Vac. I went into our Charlottetown District Office last wk. The First Lady didn’t know, so she called another. That lady said it will be paid out when we hit the age of 65...So no one at Vac seems to really know..

boys and girls I do know VAC's plan for the SRB payout;--from a question that I asked on their facebook page. Before answering from that page the information went down to them and is double check.

"Veterans Affairs Canada The Supplementary Retirement Benefit will be paid out in September 2019."

Too bad it is not paid before the summer.

If I have more info I will share it.

Don't believe that staffer. It's true that the benefit is gone, but that doesn't mean that the money that was accrued over the last 13 years, on your behalf, for the benefit, has disappeared as well. Another staffer has said that the payments will be made at the end of the month, and since that falls in line with what was written in the legislation and policies, it makes a lot more sense.

Ya sure, don’t believe that shit. It’s in the regulations of the well being act. Did you get the persons name? Call back, there’s a record of who you spoke to and post her/his name here....they will get reprimanded. Cause that is a crock of shit.

just got off the phone with VAC. woman told me there is no payout for this benefit that the 2 % is gone and not being paid out anymore obviously. if 65 you keep it. if not you loose the 2%. diff. then what you guys have been saying. who is right?

They should be sending out notices, for both the official PFL amounts, and the SRB amounts, that veterans will be receiving.

No I do not. I think it will never be shown on My account until it actually paid out.

I should qualify for this yet I dont see anything about this in MYVAC account. Does anyone else see any information regarding this today?

don't think they are on top of this . week two at the earliest would be my guess .
