Getting dropped by SISIP is always a possibility, that's a standard rule with any insurance company!! In other words, if u r no longer disabled then u no longer qualify for disabilty payments!! That makes sense don't u think!!

actally its 7.5% plus 2% and disperments depending what province you live in if you belive peter.now of course thats only if no one gets droped by sisip.

Let's look at it from another perspective!! If the legal team had demanded up front payment of a nominal fee, let's say 1000 for each affected member, very few would have signed up!! We signed up for this, we knew the initial percentages and we were fully cognizant of the possible outcomes!! If we had lost and the legal team required 1000 from each person, most people would have replied, pound sand buddy!! Well, they won and we won!! In the long term, lets say in 20 years time, the legal costs works out to be about 5% on average per member as a result of our future entitlements!! We could easily have been without any future payments if MC hadn't taken this case!!

Recon, you were always a voice of reason, 5 percent is more than enough to give each lawyer a million bonus plus make the firm plenty for years to come

I'm at home, was going to update from court but the phone I was using was fubar'd. I listened in to the Judge's opening statement, Peter Driscoll and part of Ward Branch then left.
