I left before the lunch break, so I'm guessing one o'clock AST before class members address the court. Depends how long the crown lawyers take though.

The Judge said he can not overide what has been negotiated between the parties.

Just came back from the morning session of the hearing. Justice Barnes was very explicit in what he could rule on with regards to the settlement proposal.
It will be either yes or no. He mentioned that he received hundreds of letters and that he wanted to clear up any confusion.
He also said if the proposed settlement is rejected it will be one to two more years in the courts and he would not likely be the judge by the conclusion.
Sorry if this seems like bad news but it is the reality.

AS I POSTED BEFORE

If the deal is done than I am ashamed at the GOC, Supreme Court and our Law Firm for misleading us, that we could and should write the Supreme Court with our stories and hopes and dreams.

We wasted out time!

If the deal is done, then we have been belittled into thinking we could make a difference. If it went to court and was not done behind closed doors like it was, I will be pissed at the fact we had no input.

This is a class action; while I admire our lead plaintiffs efforts, if its a done deal, then its not a class action and subject to appeal.

Enough said. I will keep my thoughts positive and await the results.
