Just a brief explanation ~..I was med released 3B ~  and not 3A  ~ sorry for the confusion...sparrow

I could never understand the differences between 3a and 3B. They both meant that you were forced out of the military due to your medical condition, and the actual release note doesn't provide any level of protection or services over the other. So, maybe they should be changed so that there is only one medical release note, just a plain 3, then everyone being medically released is given equal benefits from the CF.

The definitions of 3 Medical release changed 3-4 times in my carrier. They used to even have 4B

4b On becoming gay in the Canadian Forces.

3 Medical
(a) On medical grounds, being disabled and unfit to perform duties as a member of the Service.
(b) On medical grounds, being disabled and unfit to perform his duties in his present trade or employment, and not otherwise advantageously employable under existing service policy.

True zero, Purolator's delivery skills are hit and miss....and as for 3A, I thought it meant that I was now a permanent cast member of Happy Days! less the royalties or was that Csat cast member ~ oh now I am confused...

I heard Purolator was about to leave their fully maned warehouse, when they noticed a note on the door

"MC attempted to deliver letters to you address, but no one was their, we will try again Monday or Tuesday"

I was released 3 (A) also but I heard Purolator needs extra help so I might apply!

I was released 3a...but to SISIP and MC, it means doodliesquat.

3a, you can never work in any capacity again. They stopped giving this out.
3b Medically unfit to preform your duties
3c I can't remember and do I think its not used today anymore. Either the member was not coherent, or had to due with prisoner of war. I think its all 3b now. But older member may have it.

What are the differences between the 3a, 3b, 3c released?

I was told not to look for my cheque until late fall early winter, zero sum ,96. I know it is supposed to be random, and we won`t be able to prove that it wasn`t till all the cheques are received. One thing I dislike about money is that it can people to nasty in a hurry, unfortunately on other sites the nastiness remains, here it is dissipated quickly and with respect. Hey on a side note, 19 degrees in Ottawa is certainly not the same 19 degrees in New Brunswick brrrrr thank god I have a few family group hugs a day!
