Just hope that the guy you talked to was the same person who told me the files were delivered on the 30 of July. Alot of times they just make up an answer to get you off the phone ASAP, sad , but from my experience very true!

Navrat.......so far we are 4, including me that I know of and 3 of us were told the same thing. I wish there was a way for me to find more........i'm sure there's many many more.
Again, yesterday while talking to SISIP, I was told that we were last to be paid. I said to this person.....are you telling me that this month, again no Surviving Spouse will be paid and he said yes. Then he tried to change the words and said that he was hoping to be wrong.
I don't know what to think of it, at this point.

Thank you bigrex.......well said. As a Surviving Spouse, I was told by SISIP that this group was the last to be paid. I found other Surviving Spouses that were told the same.
This was repeated to me again yesterday by SISIP.

People do have a right be pissed off. WoV is upset, because widows seem to be being passed over during the so called random selection process, which isn't random at all if it allows someone to pick and choose which names they process from a list. We also have a right to expect that the only people, getting wealthy from this, (considering a study of well off people, who say they don't consider someone wealthy unless they have over 2 million dollars, which exludes even the highest paid class members), to be at work during the key time periods. And if it had not been for Recon and Sparrow getting a hold of Annette, we would likely still be wondering how many files were completed until Peter gets back Now we can relax this long wknd knowing we each have better than 1 in 3 chance of getting paid.

Hey guest...sorry for coming down on you like that. This IS the place for us to bitch and whine. Actually, most of us are very stoic in our waking lives where we don't let others know our pain or struggles. We have a certain dignity and pride that prevent us from showing others, civies alike, that we are damaged or in pain. We walk funny perhaps, a limp to the left, or right, perhaps we are in a chair. But we usually guard OUR secrets closely. So sorry. I do get my nose out-of-joint easily as of late. I do want some closure on this chapter of my life. Have a nice day.

Guest27, maybe you shouldn't criticize people who have apparent anxiety issues, we can't help it...so sorry to offend you. Obviously, you don't have these issues to contend with day after day, year after year...the only issue you're obviously dealing with is being a complete asshole...just a thought.
