Colzula...did you file your claim with SISIP after April 2013? That might be why there's a delay.

PD...I don't believe the CRA will penalize you for delays that are beyond your control. The only time they can really ding you with interest is if you actually owe them money, by a return being reassessed, or failure to report income...foremost though, you can't report something you haven't received yet.

No offense given it just gets under my skin with the different answers out of the sisip office.

TeenTiTan, maybe in your post when sisip said " should have them done" doesn't to me equal " for sure going to be done"

Any word/idea whether the four months will be back dated onto our 2012 taxes with us owing 1.5 years interest to the GoC for not declaring it in 2012 as it may be separate from the QRSLP, or

will it be for this current or future year depending on when its issued?

I was only relaying what I was told by my new Case Manager at Sisip. I did call back and was reassured that what I was told originally was correct so I have no idea which one is correct. It might be one official version and one realistic version. Nevertheless I was told mine would be in the 1st week of Nov batch so I guess I am still waiting. Good luck to all.

Just got off the phone and was confirmed that the 4 month check for re-instated LTD clients will be sent out by the end of this year.

I was also informed that with all the human resources working on the retro files right now they should have them all done my the court ordered date; mid-October.

This info was confirmed by upper management at Manulife.

Welcome to CSAT COLZULA007. Hopefully this "additional" batch to be released in the first week of November doesn't include any original class members...otherwise, that's a pretty major breach of the court order. Perhaps they're additional files for those who filed claims after the fact.

Only 300 are getting the 4 month LTD? Thought there would be at least 4 times that. Good info, thanks.

New Here! Just checked with Sisip and was told that an additional batch will be released to MC the first week of Nov consisting of Octobers files. Also there are about 300 of us who will be getting the four months of LTD owed to us but Sisip just told me this may not happen to January due to unforeseen delays getting the last if the court ordered files completed. I was released 1995 and haven't received any retro yet.
