Re: Stay on top of the CRA !!!
Well finally received my NOA on my CRA account, they say they used the 1198 but I paid them almost $33k and they say I am getting a refund of $13k. This is after they should have went back 8 years for the DTC as well as paying into RRSP $20 grand last year. Something stinks cause line 315 for the tax credit only shows for 2013. Now I need to figure out how the hell to ensure they apply it back like the letter of request from accountant indicated that was filed with my tax return. So guess one should at least feel ok that some of the funds are coming back and that more work needs to be done to see where they messed up or if they messed up, hope others that are still waiting get good news soon.

Many thanks to all the local experts on the site (nav, prop, and the list goes on). Recieved my notice of assessment, went from having to pay over 11,000 to getting back 25,000 plus.... There will be food for dinner again

Re: Stay on top of the CRA !!!
Hey Rifleman CRA does not adjust your taxes, you are correct in that you must file for a T1 Adjustment and do not forget to have your spouse apply for a T1 Adjustment as well as they may apply for any unused disability tax credits themselves.
ATTN: T1 Adjustment Disability Tax Credit Unit
(Your CRA Location)
Don’t forget your SIN and sign the bugger.
