Sorry troops one last attachment to my Notice of Re-AssessmentThis notice explains the results of our reassessment of your income tax return and any changes we may have made. Please refer to the "Summary" area for additional information. Keep this notice for your records.
We have made an adjustment according to your two statements of Qualifying Retroactive Lump-Sum payments.
Based on the information provided, you received a retroactive lump-sum payment in 2013. This payment was to compensate you for payments you did not receive earlier. Since you received the payment for this reason, it is eligible for a special tax calculation that benefits you. We have reduced your 2013 income by $210,584 which is the amount of the payment that applies to previous years. We have calculated the tax on this amount as if you received payments in the years to which they apply. The special tax calculation reduced the tax you have to pay on the lump sum payment. We will send you a letter giving details of this calculation.

I paid 33,745.00 to CRA and ended up with a return of 35,350.00 so if i am reading right I actually got a return of 1600.00 and I ain't bitchen lol

What was your amount owed before the T1198 was done?

Another Up Date, T1198's do work, so recheck recheck recheck.
Your 2013 return was reassessed and a refund of $35,356.95 will be mailed to you on May 29, 2014.

Hang in there RR, I've been waiting 10 weeks now and my taxes are only in the Received faze of the CRA process.

I will be calling tomorrow to see what the hold up is.

RR, go to your my account CRA , it should under view returns , go across from year 2013, it should say assessed, then above it , in black , it should read , reassess,ent in progress,

Damn I hope so digger, this waiting crap is a real downer and even the best of us, if we can call ourselves that lol, are getting well beyond frustrated to the point of becoming downright ornery lol.

Good news RR, one more hurdle done one more to go. Best of results RR.

CRA T1198 QRLSP Update, CRA acks via mail they received my T1 Adjustment Letter and will follow up with the adjustment and let me know the results, no time-line just a letter stating the above. So it looks like an adjustment will be conducted just hope it is in my favour, more to follow troops.
