One other reason for the LTD payment delay I believe, is that Sisip needs our Notice of Assessment for 2015 taxes before they can start the LTD payments in 2017.

I am currently receiving ELB or EELB actually so that will be more stress involved going from EELB to LTD and back to EELB. I was told that the reason is because SISIP does not want to start paying monthly LTD until we have our first Medical report incase we do not meet their definition of TPI and therefore do not continue getting LTD.

I am wondering if this date is given because at that time
There will be no more sisip ltd because Vac is taking it over. Maybe that's the time needed for a transfer of the program from sisip ltd to vac elb and you guys will just get a lump sum and begin collecting vac elb

Has anyone on here who won their SISIP LTD appeal contacted Judge Barnes reference monthly LTD payments not starting until 2017 as I consider this cruel and inhuman behaviour and unacceptable as a year to wait for monthly LTD payments after a favourable appeal decision is worth informing the courts?
