Don't have to be a scientist, treehugger, veteran, native, or a serving member of the military to appreciate the song.

Just a reminder
Gotta get this out. Been burning on my brain for years and feel it's definitely relevant.
There's even someone's stat to show it. Couldn't find it if it even was valid but it's a no brainer.
Given say 100 veterans right across the board completely overall. One may find 2/3 thirds are not a VAC client at all.
They are not injured and live happily ever after. The third that are clients, are split between satisfied and not so very satisfied
all things considered. WW 2 to the present.
Bear in mind my thirds are not too too off the mark. Just a close ballpark.
So, here we find ourselves... some of us are not very satisfied. Took me 30 years of crap to get dva straight.
Anyway. If any GoC talks about our bumps and bruises, they just might be skirting stuff, Ah hell, shyte, their fracking professionals at it.
So, food for thought. What will any political party emphasize... the have, or the have nots? I've been both. pinger.

Re: Assorted Merged Stored Topics
well since VAC likes spending money on cards for peoples wallets, maybe they should send out cards with this type of info on it. Some of those numbers could come in handy, and not just when sitting at home next to a computer to look them up.

'Phoney soldier' Franck Gervais sentenced
A man who pleaded guilty to unlawfully wearing a military uniform and medals during last year's Remembrance Day ceremony in Ottawa has been sentenced to 12 months probation and 50 hours of community service.
Franck Gervais was sentenced Tuesday morning in an Ottawa court. Before his sentence was delivered, Gervais apologized to the Canadian Forces, who he called the "true" heroes of the military.
During his tearful apology, he told the court that his actions weren't meant to be malicious, and that he was simply trying to honour the people he most looked up to, CTV Ottawa's Matt Skube reported Tuesday from the courthouse.

Gervais' attorney, Claude Levesque, said his client now understands how his actions were offensive.
"He recognized that the actions he made on Nov. 11, 2014, were not appropriate -- they were misguided, and for that he apologized," Levesque said.
During the sentencing, Levesque laid out what Gervais has been doing to try making amends in the past few months.
He met with the Dominion Secretary of the Royal Canadian Legion to apologize for his actions, and last weekend, he toured the National Military Cemetery in Ottawa with a retired general.
At the cemetery, Gervais laid poppies on the graves of soldiers who had died while serving in Afghanistan.
Gervais pleaded guilty in March to two charges of wearing a military uniform and medals, which he wore despite never serving in the Canadian Forces.
Last November, he appeared in a TV interview wearing a soldier's uniform. After the interview aired, veterans and members of the Canadian Forces questioned his identity.
