First off,

I would like to apologize to all our members and guest in particular Teen and Bruce for having to endure this type of nonsense that we have seen take place in this particular topic.
You are all excellent individuals who are always willing to give up your own time to help out your Fellow Veterans, You are the ones who make this forum, the outstanding forum it is today.
Unfortunately, these types of behaviors from certain individuals who for whatever reason want to disrupt our good will to produce our objectives in working together to help one another as a team, happens from time to time, it is an open forum, and that is why we see these issues pop up from time to time.
This is clearly not what CSAT is about, but as stated, it happens and it will not be tolerated.
So thank you all for all that you do, and we will stand together strong and continue to operate as a team in showing our support to one another.

I am trying my best to allow you the opportunity to come back and re register to the forum and become a part of our team again, however, it is difficult to help someone, when that someone refuses the help.
I have taken the time to explain things to you, but for whatever reason, your not accepting what it is, your explained.
That's your choice, but you have to understand that you are one person, there's more individuals other then yourself that are a part of this forum, in terms of members and guest.
Perhaps you have a hard time understanding what it is your explained, perhaps like many others who are dealing with depression and physical injuries it fogs your judgment, I understand all of that, but you need to understand that the forum needs to go on, we cannot tolerate the ongoing disruptions simply because of the issues that one is enduring, we need to look at it as a whole, not as single issue one is enduring, the forum needs to continue running with no disruptions for the better of the whole forum with it's members and guest.
Here is an example, asking me to remove banners is impossible, I have absolutely no control over that, you don't know, and don't see what's going on from my chair, I volunteer to run the forum to help Veterans period, members of the forum volunteer to help Veterans period, when you register to the forum and start making comments such as those you made, what do you expect will be the responses from those comments? Do you think that were all going to roll over and allow someone to come on the forum and insult us? That will never happen!
You as others can continue to try and disrupt the forum, or change, or try to influence change the way you see it, or believe it to be, but here is a wake up call, you will not succeed, I promise you that.
If you don't like the way the forum is being run, that's your choice, and it is your right, but you do not have the right to try and change it in a way that disrupts the function of the forum, you are insulting the forum, and everyone that surrounds the forum by acting in that fashion.
We don't need people like that on our forum, were far better off without them, in fact, I will delete them in a heart beat, I will delete them because of me having respect for the entire forum, and I want the forum to continue staying on track with holding up the standard of the integrity of the forum so we can all benefit from the help and info the forum provides.

Well Cdn vet you are correct it doesn't help but wildthing has a reputation of signing up for CSAT under different user names just to stir the pot.

But by pointing out his routine shows that as much as he thinks he is being helpful he is doing what you said causing dissension.

That said any VAC employee, gov't official or political staffer that reads this thread you have just read how upset the veteran community is right now. Your lack of tackling the tough issues of the aggressive mandate letter and not giving updates is causing these problems.

Part of the mandate letter is to do it in a timely fashion with updates. So how about giving us vets a sitrep on your progress?

Everyone does what they can and if you don't like then take your damn anger to another forum.

Your anger schtick is insulting to veterans not to mention damaging to some veterans who are having a hard time handling their injuries.

I never called you a pervert. I just said ad banners are "usually" tied to a person's search queries.  Viewing pornography doesn't make someone a pervert. It is perfectly legal in Canada,  provided the content portrays adults in consensual intercourse.

Calling me a PA fat cat that's an insult. I straddle the PA and the NVC, I didn't design the system, it's what I have to work with.

As for helping others, I've racked up 12 months of volunteering with NGO's in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Kenya and Nepal. I was volunteering in Nepal on April 25th 2015 when a 7.9 magnitude earthquake struck killing 9000 people and destroying 750, 000 buildings. I was almost killed too, but I escaped a building on the verge of collapse. My symptoms of PTSD which I was awarded a DA were finally beginning to ease during my time volunteering. The quake put me back to square one.

Don't lecture me about how to help people. I've served my country and impoverished people around the world.

BRUCE 72 that insult was to much to bear i assure you this lap top has never searched porn. And i gather from the insults you pa fat cats don't like me fine but don't call me a pervert. take a good hard look at yourselves. And trooper remove that money post it shows disrespect for those who lost everything even their lives trying to access these insurance benefits they sure didn't have more money than they could spend. I'm ashamed i'm truly ashamed at what i see on here some times and the struggles NVC vets face. If you people have more money than you's can spend there is a Veterans food bank in serious financial difficulty and could use a donation. As for anything further no comment.

I've never seen an ad banner on CSAT for pornography. The only ad banners I've ever seen are advertisements for things I regularly search for online, such as hotels, flight tickets, and sports to name a few. Ad banners are usually geared to a users search queries. I'm not pointing any fingers, but if someone sees an an ad banner for porn, it's likely they are using a search engine to find porn and this is why they see ad banners for porn.

As for CSAT, it's been an invaluable tool for me to ask for help, offer help, share my opinions without the risk of being crapped on by my fellow veterans and occasionally blow off steam. I've seen countless examples of Veterans receiving assistance from other veterans and valuable information being posted.

I for one applaud the creators, moderators, editors and veterans who contribute to CSAT. Keep up the good work all.
