Basically, as long as a Dr writes a referral, for treatment, VAC will cover it. I've have physio treatment, massage therapy, Chiropractic treatment and even injections, all paid for by VAC. They do not make the limits for treatment public, but I remember that they would only cover something like twenty 45 minute appointments for massage, per year, but that they could be extended, if additional appointments are requested by the massage therapist. But it has to be done by a licensed message therapist, so you can't just got to a spa, to get a relaxation massage.

if someone is approved osteoarthritis of the lumbar spine, regardless of the % , I.e. monetary payout or pension, is there a chart or information on anything else they are entitled to, like 20 back massages a year or anything like that, or is there even any other help you get frim VAC over a disability like that.?bigrex wrote:Mechanical LBP is a claim that you would use, if there was no clear medical diagnosis, to explain the pain you experience. But the fact that you have a confirmed diagnosis of OA, or degenerative disc disease, it would render the LBP claim pointless.

,,,considered the same or different disability claims by VAC? If you submitted both together and they came out to the same % would you only get one, i.e. 10% for each would be just 10% as there is no higher % to be considered between the two.Or would you end up with two separate awards of 10% each?
